Sowers for Christ

Whether it's a blanket to celebrate the birth of a new life, or something to keep you warm during the long nights of an extended illness, the women of WRBC work tirelessly to provide warm, quilted blessings to those in need. It's just another way we seek to show God's love to our neighbors.

Sowers for Christ meets from 9am-12noon on the 2nd and 4th Mondays of each month. You don't even need to know how to sew to get involved, we'll be sure to find a job for you!

Woodcutter's Ministry

Michigan winters can be long and cold. It takes a lot of wood to keep those stoves burning and the bedrooms cozy. Keeping up a steady supply of wood can be a hardship for many people, which is why the men of WRBC have taken it upon themselves to provide fresh cut wood to local families in need. Whether you have lumber that needs chopping or are in need of a couple of loads yourself, we're here to help.

Wood chopping is on Saturdays on an as-needed basis.

Short Term Mission Trips

West Rome offers several opportunities throughout the year for members and attendees to travel across the country and around the world on mission to spread the Good News.  This has included trips to Bolivia, Hungary, Canada, Pennsylvania, Virginia, Dominican Republic, and more.

Small Groups

At West Rome, we know that the spiritual journey is an endless frontier - a never ending quest to know God and be made new in Christ Jesus. But above all, we know that this road is not meant to be walked alone. That's why, all year long, we offer multiple opportunities to get involved in a small group study. These provide a way to explore a variety of topics - from marriage and parenting, to spiritual warfare - all while developing meaningful relationships with our church family. Find our current topics here.
