Jan 3, 2021Happy New Year!
Dear Friends and Family,
Happy New Year! This past year has been a year of many unknowns and challenges, however, it has also been a year full of God's unending presence and love.
As we look forward into 2021, I pray that you are having a renewed sense of who God is and how He has never left you and remembering that He never will. I pray that you will not only pray that God would show Himself to you, but that you would also expect Him to do just that in this next year.
I'm looking forward to the new year and all that God has planned. During this year I have a desire to seek God in a new way and I have a desire to be used by Him in new ways.
In Luke 17:5, we see the apostles telling Jesus, "increase our faith!" As I look forward to the year 2021, I pray exactly that, "Lord, please increase my faith." As I am in the states for the next 4 months or so, I am trusting that God has my prayer and financial support in the palm of His hand.
i also trust the He is going to get me back to Uganda in His specific timing. I have new ministry opportunities to share with each of you and I want to share about how God is using many in my life as well as me in theirs. I give Him all of the glory!
Thank you all who have continued to give while I have returned home! Thank you to those who have also been praying! You are all a blessing to me and there are not enough words to express how much I love you all.

Meg's Missionary Moments
Dear Friends and Family,
I wanted to thank each and every one of you for praying me home. I began traveling on Wednesday afternoon and headed to the airport in Entebbe where my plan was scheduled to leave at 1:30am. As I stood there and waited nervously with my Covid test in hand, I watched them turn away several others who had forged their negative results and weren't in the computer (sometimes the testing centers place the wrong results on other certificates). When it was my turn I handed them the certificate and silently prayed in my mind. At first she was unable to find my name but shortly thereafter my name was bright green on the screen showing that I was cleared to leave the country.
Throughout the last couple of weeks, I have received more prayers and encouragement from all of you and my hear is so blessed. I love you all and can't say enough to show you how thankful I am.
I am safe at my parents house, in my old bedroom. I wore 6 blankets to bed last night and was still cold, but I know my body will readjust.
Again thank you all so much!
May God bless you all abundantly.
Faithfully His,
Meg

Meg's Missionary MomentsDecember 1, 2020Dear Friends and Family,
Praise the Lord! I trust that you all have had a wonderful Thanksgiving with your family and friends.
I write to thank each of you for the fervent prayers and the notes of encouragement that was given to me and my family during this time. Thank you also to all of those who gave financially as well.
As of a week and a half ago, I tested positive to Covid-19, in which restricted me from flying home to the States. As of this past weekend, I am still positive. Would you please pray with me that God would continue to intervene. I know that His plan is great and sometimes we do not understand it, however, He promises that it's better. I am trusting Him in this season that I am in.
I am feeling strong and healthy at this point in my quarantine. My doctor has placed me on some antibiotics and multivitamins to help fight against the antigens and prayerfully clear them from my body so that I am cleared to come home.
I plan to retest on Saturday, December 5.
Would you pray and believe with me that God is going to do amazing things? He is a God who hears our cries for help and has compassion on us. I have faith that He is still the same God who raised Lazarus from the dead and healed the women who bled for 12 years, even today. Please continue praying with me.
Thank you so much!
Faithfully His,
Meg

"Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.”
Matthew 11:28-30
My God is a God who listens... He hears every cry of our hearts even when they aren't spoken out. He catches every tear that falls and He holds His children with compassion and care... If you are heavy laden today, know that you can run to the Father. He is a God of peace and love.
I know that this is a well known verse, but I urge you to not only read it, but believe it. He fights for us. He loves you. If you need prayer, please reach out. Love you all.
Thank you all for praying. Your prayers are continually felt and appreciated.

Tuesday Bible Study
God is so good. Our Tuesday Bible Studies outside in the village are continuous and I am thrilled to be apart of each week. From learning about our tongues and how quick they can be, to what Paul means when He says, "Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, give thanks in all circumstance for this iis the will of God for you in Christ Jesus (1 Thess 5:16-19)."
Each week brings new understanding and wisdom for these kids.
As I will be coming home, I have those in place to continue these studies who have seen the desire. Thank you for praying.
Thursday Teens
My heart is so happy when I see these girls and their smiles. Throughout the previous month and a half, we have had the chance of teaching these girls the Romans Road and building their confidence in sharing the gospel outside in the community.
Our numbers have grown from 16 to 21 girls and I am excited to see where it takes us.
Thank you for praying. I have scheduled an outing to Lacor with these girls on Monday, November 2. The girls and I are very excited. Would you please pray for us as me, our other 4 leaders, and the 21 girls as we head out there tomorrow morning.
Saturday Sleep OversFor the last year I have had the privilege to share my home with my girls every weekend. On Friday through Sunday, I have the opportunities to bring in 4 to 5 girls to sleep in my house. We watch movies, talk about the Bible, ask questions and share stories with each other. It is a joy to have these girls in my life. I'm thankful God brought them into my life.
Pabbo Women's Bible Study
Our women's Bible studies on Sunday have been growing as we have finished our I AM statements of Jesus and have transitioned to the love story of Hosea and Gomer. As we walk through the study of the ultimate love story between God and His people, my heart is being transformed and convicted. Please be praying for these women and their faith to grow and their lights to be shown.
Sunday Services
Our Sunday Services have continued and we are in awe of how God speaks in and through the teachers. Today was our first day back together all under the mango tree as the Covid-19 restrictions continue to settle. Please pray for this group of people as they continue to walk with Christ. That their faith would not just be personal but that they would desire to share it out with those they come in contact with.

As the Christmas Season has been upon us and as the New Year approaches I cannot help but look back and thank God for His faithfulness and abounding love. He is the same yesterday, today and forever, amen. He has sustained me and He will keep doing so as long as I live. Praise His Holy Name!
All About HimThe month of December has been busy in ways that I never expected. At the beginning of the month we were able to begin a Bible Study with the kids leading and teaching them through the book Luke. With each day we were able to see a different part of Jesus' life here on earth; from birth to death, we saw it all.
With every page and chapter more questions began to come from each mouth. By December 24 we had reached the end of Jesus' life and we knew who we were celebrating. Not only was He a baby born in a manger, but He was Jesus Christ, Savior of the world.
Celebrating Christ here in Uganda was such a wonderful experience as we spent 2 days in church worshiping, praising and learning; placing much emphasis on who Christmas is all about. By December 26, the kids were excited to get out into town and have some more fun. With bouncy houses and swings and animals, these kids were smiling from ear to ear. Praise God! Thank you for praying and supporting the ministry here in Uganda.
Financial Update and more:
Car: When I last wrote to you I needed approximately $3,000 more to get me to at least $5,000. I am praising God that I have reached my goal of $5,000. I have, however, found a vehicle for approximately $5,500. This means that I need an additional $500. I do thank you so much for your love and support.
Kids: My desire for the 2020 year for these kids is to have the funds to purchase additional playground equipment. One being slides as well as a Marry-go-round. This could cost about $500 as well.
Lastly, as many of you know I am here in Uganda for a total of 18 months. As of right now, I have been in here for a total of 8 months which means I have a little over 10 months to go. 2020 is now here and my support level is still at $1,500 per month.
